American Museum of Fly Fishing Invites Cheney to Speak

So the story continues.......Dick is going to the party. Here's the scoop via Troutunderground.com by way of MidCurrent.com.

American Museum of Fly Fishing Invites Cheney to Speak: An Open Letter

Some people think it's no big deal. I think it is. This guy wrecked havoc on the environment and his actions are indefensible. If you think they are defensible, please comment below and be specific. Enlighten me, but first be sure to read the above and the links to other articles on the issue. I would love to hear from anyone that disagrees, just be sure not to make it an us vs. them, Dem vs. Rep, matter because that is the last thing that this is. The museum says it is not a politcal decision, and they are right. Simply put, they are selling out on the traditions of fly fishing for a shot at padding their bank accounts.

Fly fishing has a long, rich history, and like many other pursuits, there is a strong sense of tradition and values. Of those traits, a deep respect for the environment and conservation is at or very near the top of the list. Looking at his record, Dick Cheney lacks even a basic sense of respect for the environment.

Conservationist, my ass!

Life is good. I won't be going hunting with Dick any time soon...........

Tapped Out or Sold Out?

You be the judge..........are we such prima donnas that we can only drink bottled water? Does tap water really taste like shit, or is that another media manufactured thought process? Granted, some tap water is tasty, but will it kill you you? Probably not. Does bottled water taste like $$$$$? To some corporations, not only does it taste like $$$$, that taste also trumps any inclination toward ethical behavior.

Again, you be the judge........

Life is Good. Go get a glass and fill it with water from your tap.

W's New Life

"Yo, anybody seen my homeboy, Dick Cheney?"

I think the American Museum of Fly Fishing might know..........

Write a letter to the director of the museum and tell her it's a bad decision. Keep it respectful, factual, and unwavering.......I did, and so should you.

Spring is in the air.

The Lady Doth Protest Too Much

We have another one of many governmental charletons in our midst, and this one's a doosie.

This jackass Rob Blogojevich may be the grand marshall of the "I'm So Dumb I Think I'm Smart" club. Last night he was on David Letterman pleading his case, I mean PLEADING. It was like watching a crack addict try to tell the cops he wasn't high. His eyes buldged, his mouth moved like it was connected to a high speed, turbo-charged squirrel that had too many fermented nuts in its cheeks, and his body language screamed, I'M UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN! .

This guy is not only trying to convince the world of his innocence, he is actively pursuing his own memory in an effort to erase some pretty ugly tattoos that even he can't stand to look at. My guess is that he thinks that if he says he is a virgin enough, it will be true.

Here it is in all his glory...........

I can see it now, Rob Blogojevich is going to spend the rest of his life pursuing the REAL corrupt politician.

Can a book called, If I WERE the Real Scumbag, How Would I Screw My Constituents?, be far behind?

Hey, maybe he can call O.J. to find out how he can get back his stolen governorship and not get caught, like the real killer did.

Enough Rob..........go home and soak your head so maybe all that shit in your hair will wash out and free up some oxygen for that suffocating gray matter.

Life is good. I'm going fishing, care to join me?

New Music - Really Good New Music

This is exactly why I don't limit my passion to just fly fishing - because there are too many things in this life that will come along to fuel one's soul and add to the tapestry of a full life. And, if you limit your horizons you'll miss some really good stuff.

And this my friends is fine listening - acoustic guitar played by Emile Menasche - the music has a rich, emotional texture that will wash over you like a warm spring rain.

Click on this link and enjoy: http://www.reverbnation.com/tunepak/1112264

Or this one, his trio with vocals - Speak the Language:

Good stuff.

Life is good. Just do it with your eyes (and ears) wide open.
